My dad loves to share the story about me sitting on the couch, asking how I get from "here" to "there." The 'here' being the sofa, I sat on at 7-years-old; the 'there' being the TV screen.

While I don't remember this conversation, I did make a promise to myself to be on Disney channel by 18. Disney channel definitely didn't happen, but now I'm on  Local television sharing stories of the community and using my gift of gab to encourage and inspire.
